The Kapoors panic

Just like the rest of the Mumbaikars were panicking on Wednesday night, Gautmi Gadgill Kapoor too was in a mess. “Ram was on his way back home after the shooting, when my friends called me to inform about the mayhem,” recalls Gautmi. The couple lives in south Mumbai, close to the Trident Oberoi Hotel. “Initially my reaction was that I did not react at all. My brain and my heart beat were galloping. All I was praying for was my husband and other people’s safety.” But it was a few minutes later that Ram reached home. “I was aware of what was happening outside but instead of panicking I stayed calm and called my friends to check on their safety.” Since, the battle with the terrorists is still on, the duo has decided to stay put at home. “My request to people is to co-operate with the cops and stay calm. Lets not get scared,” says Ram.
